App.ConfigとWeb.Configの違い
- 『If you are using IIS to host your service, use a Web.config file. If you are using any other hosting environment, use an App.config file.』 2)
- IISの時は
Web.configで、その他の時はApp.confgらしい
appSettingsのfileとconfigSourceの違い
- ここに詳しく書かれている 3)
- appSettings要素の中でしか使えないとか、マージの有無とかが違うらしい
- appSettingsは他の設定ファイルを丸々持ってきたい場合に使う
- configSourceは一部要素を切り出したものをインポートするイメージ
